Our Story
Andrew and Wanda Kay began a national evangelistic ministry almost immediately following their marriage, May 10, 1984. A few years later they founded and led a church in Roanoke, Virginia, for nearly a decade. In January 1997, they moved their ministry to Charleston, Illinois, where Andrew pastored New Life Apostolic Church for the next ten years. Then, in April 2007, they formed ACTS Campus Ministry at Eastern Illinois University. Recognizing the potential and calling of God in numerous young leaders involved in the campus ministry inspired Andrew and Wanda Kay to establish Christ Ministries School of Divinity, which has offered a 2-year Master of Divinity degree since January 2013. In January 2023, Bishop Luke Smith, General Chairman of the Apostolic World Christian Fellowship (AWCF) appointed Dr. Robinson as Director of Education for the AWCF and endorsed Christ Ministries School of Divinity as the Bible Institute for Education by the AWCF.
From their early teens to present-day, the Robinsons possess a deep hunger and an insatiable thirst to honor, please, and love Jesus with their whole heart, and to put Him first in everything they do. When asked, “What can we do for Jesus Who has done so much for us?” They respond, “No trip is too far, if by taking that trip a soul can be won! No expenditure is too much, if by making that expenditure a soul can be won! No suffering is too intense, if by suffering a soul can be won! No sacrifice is too great, if by sacrificing a soul can be won!”
