Founder, Vice-President, & Faculty, Christ Ministries School of Divinity

Since my husband and I established the School of Divinity in 2013, it is an honor to see the school evolve into what it is today. What began as Sunday afternoon meetings with students on the Eastern Illinois University campus is now a fully online program with learners from around the world. As a servant of the Most High God, I am profoundly grateful to have a part in shaping the lives of others and seeing them reach such amazing potential. I can reach someone you cannot, you can reach someone I cannot, but together we can change the world!

Joining Christ Ministries School of Divinity was one of the most important decisions I have ever made in my life. That experience imparted in me the necessary discipline, love, and knowledge to be an effective minister of the gospel. It has transformed my relationship with Christ and has given me a firm foundation on which I now stand. Bishop and Mama Kay are servant leaders who handle each student with patience and care. They teach both spiritually and academically, and they push each learner to do his or her personal best with a firm but loving hand. The School of Divinity has helped me to grow from a deep desire to serve the Lord, to discipline in adhering to the Word of God, and now delight in His service. Today, being a faculty member of Christ Ministries School of Divinity continues to cultivate me further both spiritually and naturally while having the opportunity to help others. Continued dedication to memorizing scripture, prayer, and reading the Word each day through this program encapsulates what a lifelong learner is. Even as a faculty member I find that there is still something to be learned and applied from each course and class session. In fact, it continues to solidify who Jesus is in my life, His love for mankind, and the plan of salvation for all (Acts 2:38). It also brings my heart great joy to witness students of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds come together in the name of Jesus Christ! I always look forward to working with the Christ Ministries family and greatly encourage you to inquire about this wonderful program if you sense the Lord speaking to your heart.

Co-Pastor, ACTS Campus Ministry Eastern Illinois University

It has been amazing to see how the School of Divinity has evolved! I graduated from the School of Divinity in 2015. It has given me a deeper love for the Word of God. Our assignments included not only reading Scripture daily, but also memorizing Scripture daily. This has greatly enhanced my commitment to Scripture. The School of Divinity has also helped me to become more grounded in knowing who Jesus is as well as His plan of salvation for mankind. In addition, I can articulate these biblical truths to others! Even now, I am continuing my journey as a lifelong learner by serving as a faculty member for the same program that has given me such a solid foundation in God’s Word. I am honored to see learners grow as they apply the knowledge and wisdom gained from the program. Serving as a faculty member for the School of Divinity keeps me sharp as I continue to serve as co-pastor of ACTS Campus Ministry EIU with my lovely wife Tania.

As an alum of the School of Divinity, God has birthed within me a desire to be a woman of excellence in every area of my life. Prior to the School of Divinity, I lacked the discipline that was needed to be effective in ministry; however, since graduating, I have committed to applying the principles learned by making it a part of my everyday life. I also gained a deeper revelation of who Jesus is as a result of strengthening my prayer life! Mahatma Ghandi once said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” It brings me joy to have the opportunity to serve in the incredible work that Jesus is doing through the School of Divinity. I have freely received deeper truth and wisdom from serving under Bishop and Mama Kay throughout the years and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Serving as a faculty member provides further education and continues to broaden my perspective of the Word by being a part of a school where there is diversity of knowledge and experiences among learners.
